RBI Recruitment 2026 Notification OUT: 650 Assistant Vacancies Announced, Apply Online Till March 8
The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) is inviting applications from desired, eligible, and experienced candidates for the post of Assistant under Panel Year 2025. There are a total of 650 vacancies available for the aforesaid post. Selected candidates will be placed in the Apex Bank itself. Selection will be made based on the performance of the candidate in a country-wide competitive examination, including two phases, i.e., the preliminary and main examinations, followed by a Language Proficiency Test (LPT).
Candidates interested in applying for the post should be between 20 and 28 years old. Chosen candidates will be provided a monthly basic pay of Rs. 29000. Candidates should at least hold a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks (pass class for SC/ST/PwBD candidates) in the aggregate and have knowledge of word processing on PC to apply for the job role. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online by filling in the form available on the official website of RBI. Applications submitted by any other mode, with incomplete information, or after the due date will not be entertained. Applications have started from today (February 16, 2026) and will end on March 08, 2026.

Candidates said to be eligible for RBI Recruitment 2026 are required to be:
(a) a citizen of India or
(b) a subject of Nepal, or
(c) a subject of Bhutan, or
(d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January, 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
(e) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, or the East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Candidates to be said to be eligible for the aforementioned post should hold a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks (pass class for SC/ST/PwBD candidates) in the aggregate and knowledge of word processing on PC.
Candidates applying for RBI Recruitment 2026 must possess an age limit between 20 and 28 years. Candidates should not be born earlier than February 02, 1998, and not later than February 01, 2006 (both days inclusive). Candidates belonging to reserve categories have been provided few relaxations in the age limits:

Selected candidates for the role of Assistant will be paid a monthly basic pay of Rs. 29,000 in the scale of Rs. 29000–1700 (3)–34100–2040 (4)–42260–2720 (6)–58580–2950 (2)–64480–3370 (3)–74590–4050 (1)–78640 and other allowances. Along with this, Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, City Compensatory Allowance, Transport Allowance, etc., will also be provided to selected candidates. This will result in an initial monthly gross emolument (without HRA) for the assistant of approximately Rs. 58,514.
Candidates filling out application forms for RBI Recruitment 2026 are required to pay the fee of Rs. 450 if they belong to the General and OBC categories and Rs. 50 if they belong to the SC/ST/PWD categories. Staff members are not required to pay any fee. This application fee can be paid online using net banking or by any credit/debit card.
