Reliance Infrastructure Received PMLA Order for Attachment of Assets Worth Rs 670.48 Crore

Reliance Infrastructure Limited has informed the National Stock Exchange of India and BSE Limited that it has received an order from the Adjudicating Authority under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), which the company received on 21 April 2026.

In this order, the continuation of the provisional attachment already imposed on some properties of the company has been confirmed. The total value of these properties is approximately Rs 670.48 crore. The case relates to activities carried out between 2017 and 2019 and alleged violations under the PMLA. The company has given this information to the stock exchanges under Regulation 30 of SEBI (LODR) Regulations, 2015, as it is considered a material regulatory update.

This case of Reliance Infrastructure Limited is related to financial investigation and regulatory action, which is going on under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA). The case originated from certain financial transactions and business activities that took place in the period between 2017 and 2019, in which authorities suspected some irregularities. Following this, an inquiry into these transactions began.

Throughout the investigation, specific assets of the company were subjected to temporary attachment to prevent their use, transfer, or handling while the inquiry was in progress. In a recent update, the Adjudicating Authority has validated this provisional attachment. This means the restriction on those assets will remain in place until a final decision is taken in the matter.

The company has decided to go against this order and will challenge this decision through appeal. At the same time, the company has also clarified that this case has not had any impact on its normal business operations, but restrictions will still remain on the attached assets.
