NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 20th December, 2018
S.O. 6228(E).In exercise of the powers conferred by section 15MA of Securities and Exchange Board of India Act, 1992 (15 of 1992), the Central Government hereby appoints Justice Tarun Agarwal, Retired Chief Justice, Meghalaya High Court to the post of Presiding Officer, Securities Appellate Tribunal in the scale of pay of Rs. 2,50,000/- (Fixed) for a period of five years from the date of assumption of charge of the post, or till he attains the age of 70 years, or until further orders, whichever is the earliest.
