SAIL Recruitment 2022: Steel Authority of India (SAIL), a Maharatna Public Sector Enterprise and the leading steel-making company in India. SAIL is inviting applications for its dispensaries from qualified Doctors (including retired Doctors) to appear in the “Walk-in-Interview” for the post of General Duty Medical Officer (GDMO). According to SAIL Recruitment 2023, there are 04 vacancies for the given post including 03 vacancies for the unreserved category and 01 vacancy for the OBC category.
As Per the SAIL Recruitment 2023 Notification, Interested & eligible candidates having requisite qualifications can walk in for a selection interview at the scheduled date, time & venue. The interview will be conducted starting from 10.00 AM on 23.01.2023 at Chasnalla [Office of the Executive Director(Collieries Division) Chasnalla, Dhanbad, Jharkhand- 828135]

Applications are being invited for 04 vacancies for the Post of General Duty Medical Officer (GDMO).
The eligible candidate should not be more than 69 years of age as on the date of advertisement i.e 07.01.2023. The upper age limit for contractual engagement under this Scheme is 70 years. However, the doctors to be engaged should be medically fit to perform his/her duty.
Candidates applying for the post of GDMO may be posted at SAIL Collieries Division, Chasnalla or Jitpur (in Dhanbad, Jharkhand) or at Ramnagore, (in Paschim Bardhaman, West Bengal), at the sole discretion of the Appointing Authority Registered Office-Ispat Bhawan, Lodhi Road, New Delhi-110003.
The candidate should hold MBBS from University/Institute recognized by MCI.
The candidate appointed to the Post of GDMO will be paid an amount of Rs.1,00,000 per month as consolidated remuneration.
The initial tenure of contractual engagement of doctors engaged under this Scheme would be for a period of one year, which can be extended twice for a period of one year each at the discretion of the Company. The maximum period of engagement under the same contract would not be more than 3 years.
The candidate would be selected through a “Walk-in-Interview” followed by a medical screening.
As per the SAIL Recruitment 2023 Notification, candidates responding to the advertisement for “ENGAGEMENT OF DOCTORS AT SAIL-COLLIERIES DIVISION ON CONTRACT BASIS” will have to download the Application Form and submit the duly-filled application form along with the listed supporting documents at the time of the Walk-in Interview’. No other mode of application will be accepted.
