• The candidate should have a Post Qualification Experience (after BE/B.Tech) of a minimum of 13 years in the Executive cadre in the execution of jobs in the respective relevant field as per discipline in any Manufacturing Industry / Mining Sector / Infrastructure Development Organisation.
• The Industry / Organisation must be a Public Sector Undertaking/ Govt. Organization / Public Limited Company / JV of PSUs or Govt.

For Manager (E-3) (Mechanical / Electrical / Civil):

• The applicant must have a B.E/B. Tech (Full-time) in Mechanical / Electrical / Civil from Govt. a recognized University/Institute.
• The applicant must have a Post Qualification Experience (after BE/B.Tech) of a minimum of 07 (seven) years in the Executive cadre in the execution of jobs in the respective relevant field as per discipline in any Manufacturing Industry / Mining Sector / Infrastructure Development Organisation.
• The Industry / Organisation must be a Public Sector Undertaking/ Govt. Organization / Public Limited Company / JV of PSUs or Govt.

For Dy. Manager (E-2) (P and HS):

• The candidate should have a full-time Master’s Degree / Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel Management / Hospitality Management / Hospitality and Hotel Administration / Hotel Management and Catering Technology from Govt. a recognized University/Institute.
• The candidate should have a Post Qualification experience of a minimum of 04 (four) years in the Executive cadre in 3 3-star / above-star Hotel(s) or in any Corporate/Govt./PSU-owned Hotel/Guest House having not less than 50 rooms.

For Asst. Manager (E-1) (Geology):

• The applicant must have a Master of Science (M.Sc.) or Master of Science and Technology (M.Sc. Tech) (full time) in Geology/Applied Geology discipline from Govt. recognized University/ Institute.
• The candidate should have a Post Qualification experience of a minimum of 02 years in the executive cadre in Open Cast Metalliferous Mines in the Geology/Quality Control/Mine Planning Department.

Age Limit for SAIL Recruitment 2023:

Referring to the official notification of SAIL Recruitment 2023, the age limits are listed below:

• The maximum age is 41 years for the post of Assistant General Manager.
• The maximum age is 35 years for the post of Manager.
• The maximum age is 32 years for the post of Deputy Manager.
• The maximum age is 30 years for the post of Assistant Manager.

Application Fee for SAIL Recruitment 2023:

Selection Process for SAIL Recruitment 2023:

As informed by the official notification of SAIL Recruitment 2023, candidates will be selected on the basis of a computer-based test (CBT) and interview, or both.

In the case of CBT, there will be 100 multiple-choice questions in 2 segments, i.e., 50 on technical or professional knowledge and 50 on the test. Candidates will be shortlisted for interviews in order of merit at a ratio of 1:3 for each post or discipline. The candidates are required to fulfill the given physical standard.
