SBI Recruitment 2023: State Bank of India (SBI) is inviting Indian citizens to the engagement of retired officers of SBI and the erstwhile Association for the post of Support Officer in Cash Management Product Operations Centre (CMPOC), on a contract basis. As given in the official notification of SBI Recruitment 2023, there are 09 vacancies for the given post (General 06, Other Backward Caste 02, Scheduled Caste 01). Selected candidates will be posted on Hyderabad and Preference will be given to Ex-officers who have earlier worked in CMPOC, have adequate knowledge of CMPOC, and have good track records of performance. However, the officer should have retired from the Bank’s service only on attaining superannuation at 60 years, who has completed 58 years of age and 30 years of service/ pensionable service will be considered in the eligibility criteria for fresh engagement. According to the official notification of SBI Recruitment 2023, the maximum age limit as of 18.03.2023 is 65 years, subject to satisfactory performance and renewal of contract, and for fresh engagement, it should be 63 years. Applicants will be hired on a contractual basis for a period of a minimum of 1 to 2 years which might be extended to a maximum of 3 years or the retired officer attaining the age of 65 years.
In accordance with the official notification of SBI Recruitment 2023, shortlisted candidates will be called for an Interview and selected candidates will get a monthly remuneration between Rs 40000 to Rs. 45000. Interested and eligible candidates are required to register themselves online through the link avail on the official website of SBI. Candidates must fill out the ‘application form’ carefully and submit it after completing it. For this post the engagement will be for a maximum of 65 years, subject to satisfactory performance and contract renewal. As a result, the maximum age for a fresh engagement should be 63 years as of 18.03.2023.
No specific educational qualifications are required since the applicants are retired officers of SBI.
As per the official notification of SBI Recruitment 2023, Preference will be given to Ex-officers who have earlier worked in CMPOC, have adequate knowledge of the operation of CMPOC, and have a good track record of performance and thorough knowledge of systems and procedures.
The eligibility Criteria needed for fresh engagement is that the officer should have retired from the Bank only after reaching superannuation at the age of 60. Officers who voluntarily retired/resigned/suspended or otherwise left the Bank prior to superannuation are ineligible for consideration for engagement.
However, any officer who has completed 58 years of age and 30 years of service/pensionable service (both conditions must be met) as of the date of applying will be eligible for engagement in the Bank upon reaching the age of 60.
Selected candidates will get a monthly remuneration between Rs 40000 to Rs. 45000. Salary bifurcation is below.
Shortlisted candidates will be called for an Interview.
Interview– The interview will carry 100 marks. The qualifying marks in the interview will be decided by the Bank. No correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
Merit list– The merit list for final selection will be prepared in descending order of scores obtained in the interview only, subject to the candidate scoring minimum qualifying marks. In case more than one candidate scores common cut-off marks, such candidates will be ranked in the merit in descending order of their age.
The Support Officer post’s contract period will be at least one year. Still, no more than three years, or until the retired officer reaches the age of 65, whichever comes first, subject to a quarterly review of the official’s performance.
The initial contract may be for two years, after which it may be renewed for one year based on the performance of Support officers, subject to the attainment of the age of 65. After the age of 65, the contract will no longer be extended.
