The Shipping Corporation of India Ltd. (SCI) is looking for desirous candidates for the post of Hindi Officer. There is only 01 opening to be filled for SCI Recruitment 2024.

Age Limit for SCI Recruitment 2024:

Candidates should have a maximum age of 35 years for applying to SCI Recruitment 2024.

Qualification and Experience for SCI Recruitment 2024:

Candidate must have the required qualifications and experience for applying to SCI Recruitment 2024 as provided below-

• The candidate should have a Master’s Degree from a recognized university in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level. OR 
• The candidate should have a Master’s Degree from a recognized university in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level. OR 
• The candidate should have a Master’s Degree from a recognized university in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi medium and English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level. OR 
• The candidate should have a Master’s Degree from a recognized university in any subject other than Hindi or English, with English medium and Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level. OR 
• The candidate should have a Master’s Degree from a recognized university in any subject other than Hindi or English with Hindi and English as compulsory or elective subjects or either of the two as a medium of examination and the other as a compulsory or elective subject at degree level.

Experience-

• The candidate should have a minimum 03 years of experience (post qualification) in using/applying terminology (terminological work) in Hindi and translation work from English to Hindi or vice-versa preferably of technical or scientific literature under Central / State Governments / Autonomous Body / Statutory Organizations / PSUs / Universities OR recognized research or educational institutions. OR 
• The candidate should have a minimum of 03 years of experience (post qualification) of teaching in Hindi and English or research in Hindi or English under Central / State Governments / Autonomous Bodies/Statutory Organizations / PSUs / Universities OR recognized research or educational institutions.

Salary for SCI Recruitment 2024:

The candidates who are selected for SCI Recruitment 2024 will be given a monthly remuneration of Rs.86300. There will be no other perks/benefits\/allowances applicable.

Tenure for SCI Recruitment 2024:

The appointment of SCI Recruitment 2024 is made on a contract basis and the chosen candidates will be engaged for a period of 02 years from the date of engagement, with a provision for a further 2 extensions of 6 months each at the sole discretion of the Corporation. The place of posting will be at Mumbai Head Office. However, the Corporation at its discretion may depute the Officer at any of its offices/projects anywhere in India as per its requirement.

Selection Process for SCI Recruitment 2024:

The candidates will be selected for SCI Recruitment 2024 on the basis of a personal interview. The date, time and venue of the interview will be notified on the Corporation’s website. The Corporation reserves the right to shortlist the number of candidates for Interview out of eligible candidates in a ratio of 1:10 based on higher experience.
