Senior CA Members can now register for the ICAI's WeCare Initiative

Senior CA Members can now register for the ICAI's WeCare Initiative The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has decided to initiate an initiative called "WE CARE" in order to establish contact and communication with these senior members in order to take a vision for "Profession for the Future" and to recognise their 50 years of service to the profession. Simultaneously, ICAI will express its appreciation for its members' well-being and, in exceptional cases, will arrange for financial assistance through the CABF. This project will enable ICAI to interact with these Senior members about their vision for the future profession, gain insights into their wealth of experience that they can share with new members, and ICAI to come up with some good ideas and directions for the advancement of the professional interest while also taking stock of their wellbeing, health, financial conditions, and issues they face. This policy statement will enable the ICAI to realise its purpose and objectives by implementing the above-mentioned goal at the grass-roots level. The policy paper will also outline the Standard Operating Procedures to be followed by all parties involved in the project's implementation, with the goal of achieving the same results in a uniform manner across the country.
