SMP Kolkata Recruitment 2022: Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port (SMP) has invited applications from the officers to engage eleven Executive Engineers (Civil) for a period of two (02) years and one Permanent Way Inspector (on contract), for a period of one (01) year. The Executive Engineers(Civil) will be posted under Civil Engineering Department and Hydraulic Study Department, while the PWI (on contract) will be posted under Civil Engineering Department. The candidate selected for the post of Executive Engineer (Civil) will be paid a consolidated amount of 42,550 (consolidated per month) and the candidate selected for the post of Permanent Way Inspector will be paid Rs. 75,000 (per month). There are a total of 12 vacancies for the post.
The age of the candidate for the post of Executive Engineer (Civil) shall not be above 35 years as of 01.11.2022 and the age of the candidate or the post of Permanent Way Inspector shall not be above 63 years as of 01.11.2022. Eligible and interested candidates applying for the posts of Executive Engineer (Civil) and PWI (On Contract), may submit their applications (in hard copies} as per the prescribed proforma on or before 22.12.2022, duly superscribing on the envelope “Application for the post of Executive Engineer/ PW’ to the Chief Engineer, SMP, Kolkata,15, Strand Road, Kolkata — 700001, along with the required documents. Upon scrutiny, only eligible candidates will be called for Written Test and/or Physical Interview. AS per the Official SMP Kolkata Recruitment Notification 2022 the last date to apply for the post is December 22th, 2022.

Education Qualification:
Degree in Civil Engineering from the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Or Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology (TEST) Or Jadavpur University (JU).
Experience:
Minimum three (03) years of practical experience in civil Engineering after graduation, either in site execution or design or Project Monitoring etc.
Desirable:
Proficiency in designing software viz. AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Microsoft Project, Storm CAD etc.
Education Qualification:
Diploma holder in Civil Engineering from a recognized institute.
Experience:
Working experience as Permanent Way Inspector in Indian Railways.
