South Eastern Railway Recruitment 2023: South Eastern Railway is looking for qualified and eligible candidates to fill up the post of Apprentices under the Apprentices Act 1961 and Apprenticeship Rules, 1992 in various workshops. There are 1785 open seats for the aforementioned position, as stated in the South Eastern Railway Recruitment 2023 official notification. Based on the official notification of South Eastern Railway Recruitment 2023, applicants need to pay the application fee of Rs.100, whereas SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen/ Persons with Disability/ Women/Minorities and Economic Backward Class need not pay an application fee.
The candidate must possess an ITI Pass certificate issued by the NCVT/SCVT and a Matriculation from an accredited Board with a minimum of 50% overall in line with the official South Eastern Railway Recruitment 2023 notification. The minimum age limit for the assigned position is 15 years and the maximum age limit should not exceed 24 years as of 01.01.2024. The merit list (trade-wise) will be used to make the selection. The interview will be scheduled for the shortlisted candidates according to the official notification of South Eastern Railway Recruitment 2023. To fill positions as apprentices under the Apprentices Act of 1961 and the Apprenticeship Rules of 1992 in various workshops, South Eastern Railway is seeking suitable and eligible people. Candidates applying for the South Eastern Railway Recruitment 2023 must have a Matriculation (Matriculate or 10th class in 10+2 examination system) from a recognized Board with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate (excluding additional subjects) and an ITI Pass certificate (in the trade in which Apprenticeship is to be done) granted by the NCVT/SCVT.

Candidates will be chosen for South Eastern Railway Recruitment 2023 based on a merit list created (trade-wise). The merit list for each trade will be generated based on the percentage of marks achieved in Matriculation, with a minimum of 50% (aggregate) marks. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for document verification to the amount of 1.5 times the number of available positions.
