Southern Railways Recruitment 2022: Southern Railway issued a notification for inviting applications for the recruitment to the post of Apprentice under Central Workshop/ Ponmalai – 527, Carriage & Wagon Workshop/ Perambur – 1343, Trichy and S&T Workshop / Podanur – 1287 respectively for the year 2022-23.  The Start Date of the Submission of the Online Application is 01st October 2022 and the Last Date of Submission of the Online Application is 31 October 2022.

Eligible and interested candidates can apply online on the official website, Applications complete in all respects should be submitted only ONLINE till 31 October 2022., by visiting the website www.sr.indianrailways.gov.in. SC/ST/PH/ Women candidates have been excluded from paying an application Fee and Others have to pay an application fee of Rs. 100. The Starting Date of Online Application is 01 October 2022, and the Candidates can apply online on or before 31 October 2022.

Age Limit for Southern Railway Recruitment 2022

The age of the candidate shall be between be 15 years to 24 years as on 01-01-2022.

Educational Qualification for Southern Railway Recruitment 2022:

Fitter, Machinist, MMV, Turner, Diesel Mechanic, Carpenter, Painter, Trimmer, Welder(G&E), Wireman, Advance Welder & R&AC – Should have passed 12th Class (with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks) under 10, +2 system of education with Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

Electrician – 10th Class (with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks) under 10 +2 System of education with science as one of the subjects or its equivalent and ITI course in the relevant trade in Government recognized ITI.

Electronics Mechanic – 10th Class (with a minimum of50% aggregate marks) under 10 +2 System of education with Science (Physics and Chemistry) and Mathematics or its equivalent and ITI course in the relevant trade in Government recognized ITI.

PASAA – 10th Class (with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks) under 10 +2 System of education & National Trade Certificate issued by National Council for Vocational Training in “Computer Operator and Programming Assistant.

Application Fees for Southern Railway Recruitment 2022:

SC/ST/PH/ Women candidates- No Fee and for Others – Rs. 100
