State Bank of India Recruitment 2024: The State Bank of India (SBI) is seeking qualified and eligible candidates for the posts of Officers (Sportsperson) and Clerical (Sportsperson). The recruitment is open for a total of 68 vacancies combining both posts. The posts are open for a total of 8 disciplines, Basketball, Cricket, Football, Hockey, Volleyball, Kabaddi, Table Tennis, Badminton etc. As indicated in the official notice of the State Bank of India Recruitment 2024, candidates willing to work in the position of Officer (Sportsperson), should have represented the country in an International Games during the last 3 years and at Clerical (Sportsperson), should have represented the State in National event or the District in State level event or the University in an Inter-University event with distinction or if he was a member of the Combined Universities Team with distinction. Candidates must have a maximum age upto 30 years as of 01/04/2024. However, relaxation in the upper age limit of 5 years is given and ten years in the case of the sportspersons, belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST).

As mentioned in the official notification of State Bank of India Recruitment 2024, the minimum and maximum age limit to apply for the given posts is mentioned below.
1. Officers (sportspersons): Must have a minimum age limit of 21 years and a maximum age limit of 30 years.
2. Clerical (Sportsperson): Must have a minimum age limit of 20 years and a maximum age limit of 28 years.

As informed in the official notification, released by the State Bank of India (SBI), candidates will be selected on the basis of the “Shortlisting and Assessment Test.”
(a) Shortlisting: Mere fulfilling the minimum qualification and experience will not vest any right to the candidate to be called for the Assessment Test.
(b) Assessment Test: The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of total marks for selection, as per the following assessment parameters.
