Students who switched to a revised scheme eligible to take the Nov 2021 exam under the old or new scheme
Students who switched from an earlier scheme to a revised scheme between July 21, 2021, and August 20, 2021, are eligible to take the November 2021 examination under the old or new scheme.
The Examination Department, in its announcement dated June 21, 2021, provided an “Opt-out option” for examinees if they or their grandparents, parents, spouse, children, and siblings (residing in the same premises) were infected with COVID-19 (with the fee paid and exemptions granted) to the November 2021 examination cycle.
Following that, the last attempt to appear in the CA Final and Intermediate Old Course examination was extended to November 20, 2021, regardless of opting out of the May 20, 2021 examination cycle, according to an announcement dated August 20, 2021.
In light of the foregoing announcements, students who converted from an earlier scheme to a revised scheme between July 21, 2021, and August 20, 2021, are hereby permitted to sit for the Old/New scheme (Intermediate (Integrated Professional Competence)/ Intermediate and Final (Old)/ Final (New)) examination in November 2021.
As a result, when filling out the examination form for the November 2021 examination cycle, such students must specify the scheme in which they intend to appear.
