Supreme Court Advises Hybrid Hearings Amid Prevailing Weather Conditions
The Supreme Court of India issued a circular on December 14, 2025, because of the current weather conditions. The Chief Justice of India has suggested that, if it is convenient, lawyers and people who are representing themselves in cases do not need to come to court physically. Instead, they can attend their hearings online using the video conferencing (hybrid) facility. The circular has been shared with:
- The Supreme Court Bar Association
- The Supreme Court Advocates-on-Record Association
- All notice boards in the Supreme Court
