Taxpayers urged to Comply with Income Tax e-verification scheme The Federation of Telangana Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FTCCI), in collaboration with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), organized a seminar on the Income Tax e-verification scheme on Tuesday with Sunita Bainsla, Principal Director General of Income Tax (Intelligence and Criminal Investigation). There are numerous incidents of delayed e-verification in Hyderabad. It has an equal amount of non-response situations, which is cause for concern and raises new issues. Ms. Bainsla explained the interactive programme. The organisers said in a statement to the press that the senior official emphasized how the scheme is simple, easy to comply with, and a win-win situation for all parties involved, namely tax paperwork, CAs, and the IT department. E-verification is the way forward and crucial. She urged people to comply and engage with the department. The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) notified the e-verification scheme 2021 in December 2021 to promote voluntary tax compliance and facilitate efficient and non-intrusive tax administration. Raj Gopal Sharma, Director of Income Tax (Administration), New Delhi, provided a detailed presentation on the e-verification initiative. M. Vijay Kumar, Director of Income Tax Hyderabad, FTCCI president Meela Jayadev, and ICAI Hyderabad CA Chairman Satish Kumar also spoke.
