UP Board Class 10th and 12th Exam Schedule 2025 Announced, Check Related Details Here

UP Board Exam Date 2025: The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has declared the Board Class 10th and 12th Exam Schedule 2025. The UP Board examinations are scheduled to be conducted between February 24 and March 12, 2024. Exams will be organised in two shifts, the first shift will be held from 8:30 am to 11:45 am and the second from 2 pm to 5:15 pm.

On the first day of the examination, the class 10th students will appear for the Hindi exam in the first shift while those from class 12th will appear for the Military Science paper in the second shift.

This year, a total of 54,38,597 have registered for the UP Board Class 10th and 12th Examinations, 27,40,151 students from class 10th and 26,98,446 from class 12th. There are a total of 27,000 UPMSP-affiliated schools have participated in UP Board Class 10th and 12th Examinations.

As compared to the last year, this year’s number of students registered for the UP Board exams has decreased. This year, 2,07,184 students were lesser as compared to the last year who applied for the High school examinations. However, there has been noticed increment in the number of students registered for the intermediate examinations this year as compared to the last year. This year 2,07,184 more students registered for the UP intermediate examination, as per the latest updates.

The UP board will allow only 2000 students per exam centre. The board has increased this limit in reference to the last year. Last year, only 1200 students were allowed in one exam centre.

Government and board officials are currently working to ensure that the board exams won’t clash with festival preparations and vice versa. Therefore, after Maha Shivratri on February 26—the last bathing festival of Kumbh—which starts on Makar Sankranti on January 14, 2025, the board expects to hold the annual exams in March.

Board Secretary Bhagwati Singh has confirmed, “The exams for both high school and intermediate will start simultaneously on February 24, 2025, and conclude on March 12, 2025”.

UP Board high school examinations, mathematics exam will be held on March 1, Sanskrit on March 3, Science on March 4, English on March 7, and Social Studies on March 11, 2024.

UP Board Intermediate examination, hindi exam will held on February 24, civics on March 1, Botany and Maths is on March 3, Economics and Accountancy (for the Commerce stream) is on March 4, History is on March 5, Physics, Education, Philosophy, and Psychology is on March 6, Chemistry and Sociology is on March 8, Geography is on March 10, and English is on March 12.
