UP Board Compartment Exam 2023: The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has released the form for the UP Board Compartment or Improvement Examination 2023. The UPMSP has released the form for both classes 10th and 12th on its official website today, 17th May 2023. The compartment exam and improvement exam forms were made available online after 12 pm on the board’s website. Students will have to apply for the class 10th and class 12th (Intermediate) compartment and improvement exams online only. Forms received through other modes will not be accepted.
Candidates can apply for both improvement and compartment exams from today onwards. The improvement exam is for students who want to improve their marks in any particular subject but has not failed the subject. Improvement exam helps students to improve their marks in a particular subject. On the other hand, the compartment exam is necessary for those students who failed their board exams. Candidates scoring less than 33% marks in their intermediate (class 12th) and class 10th exam will have to appear for the compartment exam.
The compartment examination is the last chance for both classes 10th and 12th students to pass their 2023 board exams. Candidates failing to pass the compartment exam will have to reappear for the board examination to be conducted in the next academic year. The online exam forms for both improvement and compartment examination are available for all streams of class 12th and class 10th. The last date to apply online for the improvement and compartment exam is 7th June 2023.
It is to be noted that students will have to submit the printout of the duly filled online compartment exam or improvement exam form and application fee slip to the regional board office by post. The last date to submit the exam form in the regional board office is 10th June 2023.
The UPMSP declared the UP Board results for both classes 10th and 12th on 25th April 2023. The pass percentage of UP board class 10th stands at 89.78%. The pass percentage of class 12th was 75.52%. Priyanshi Soni of Sitapur topped the UP board Class 10th exam 2023 with 98.33%. The UP board class 12th exam 2023 was topped by Shubh Chhabra of Mahoba. He scored 97.80% marks.
Students will have to pay a certain amount in order to apply for improvement and compartment exam 2023. The UPMSP will charge different amounts from students of classes 10th and 12th in order to appear for compartment and improvement exams. The application fee for the compartment and improvement exam 2023 for class 10th students is Rs 256. Students of Class 12th (all streams) will have to pay Rs 306 as an application fee to apply for improvement and compartment exams.
