UP Govt Extends Transfer Due Date for Officers Working in State Tax Dept Until June 2026 for FY 2026-27
The Uttar Pradesh Government has extended the transfer deadline for officers and employees working under the State Tax Department for the financial year 2026-27.
The update has been officially announced via Communication No. RAK-1/1347933/2026, dated May 31, 2026, duly signed by Dharmendra Mishra, Joint Secretary, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
The Communication is addressed to the Commissioner, State Tax, Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow State Tax Section-1, Lucknow. Referencing the Government Order No. 2/2026/93/General/Forty-seven-Ka-4-2026-1/3/96, dated May 05, 2026, of the Personnel Department regarding the annual transfer policy of government officers/employees for the year 2026-27, the UP government has extended the transfer period until June 15, 2026.
This relief has been permissible for the transfer of officers/employees of the State Tax Department covered under the transfer policy under the provision in clause 8 of the Government Order dated May 05, 2026, of the Personnel Department.
Through the communication, all concerned officials have been instructed to complete all the necessary procedures on or before the extended due date only.
