UPMRCL Recruitment 2023 for Chief Engineer: Check Posts, Vacancies, Eligibility and Other Details
UPMRCL Recruitment 2023: Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Ltd (UPMRCL) is hiring candidates for the Chief Engineer (Electrical) and Chief Engineer (S&T) posts on a deputation/normal tenure of deputation for a period of 3 years, which may be extendable. As per the UPMRCL Recruitment 2023 notification, there are 03 vacancies. The maximum age limit is 55 years.
Eligible candidates would be called for an interview & selection is based on an Interview basis. The Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Limited reserves the right to shortlist candidates for interview. No correspondence in this regard shall be entertained. The candidate should be free from DAR/ Vigilance. As per the UPMRCL Recruitment 2023 notification, interested candidates can submit their applications within 30 days from the date of publication.

Chief Engineer (Electrical)
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering/Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering with Rolling Stock and/or Traction background, from Government recognized university/institute.
Chief Engineer (S&T)
B.E/ B.Tech or equivalent in Electronics/ Electronics & Telecommunication/Electronics & Communication/ Electrical & Electronics from Govt. a recognized University /Institute.
Post-wise eligibilities are given below for UPMRCL Recruitment 2023:
Chief Engineer (Electrical)
For CDA: Officers of the Electrical Engineering department should be either working or empaneled in SAG Pay scale Rs 144200- 218200 (Revised/Level-14 )/ Rs. 37400-67000 + Grade Pay Rs. 10000 (Pre-revised) or should have a minimum of 17 years Group A service and presently working in Selection Grade Pay scale Rs
123100 – 215900 (Revised/Level-13)/ Rs. 37400-67000 + Grade Pay Rs. 8700 (Pre-revised). OR
For IDA: Executives of the Electrical Engineering department working or empaneled in IDA pay scale of Rs. 120000 – 280000 (Revised)/ Rs. 51300 – 73000 (Pre-revised) or should have a minimum of 17 years service in the executive cadre and presently working in IDA pay scale of Rs . 90000 – 240000 (Revised)/ Rs. 36600 – 62000 (Pre-revised).
Chief Engineer (S&T)

As per the UPMRCL Recruitment 2023 Notification, the candidates should submit their application to “GM/ HR/ Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Limited, Administrative Building, Near Ambedkar Samajik Parivatan Sthal, Vipin Khand, Gomtinagar, Lucknow-226010” as per the enclosed application form before the closing date. The candidate applying should submit an application through the proper channel as per the enclosed application form requesting their parent organization to forward their application along with NOC, D&AR and Vigilance Clearance and APARs ratings for the preceding 04 years. Submission of NOC before the interview is a must for participating in the interview process.
