UPPCL Recruitment 2022: Uttar Pradesh Power Transmission Corporation Limited invites eligible candidates for the post of Technician (Power). The technician is a Group C post and the exam will be conducted Online through Competitive Written Examination (CBT). This is a direct recruitment for a given post; candidates can submit an application form online. No other mode will be acceptable. The online application starting date is 27th September 2022 and the last date to apply is 19th October 2022. The tentative date of examination is the Fourth Week of November 2022.

Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Ltd. (UPPCL) reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of these vacancies as per requirement.

After evaluation of the question papers of different shifts, the Normalization method (CBT) will be used in the first and second parts of the merit determination. Reservation on the above posts is permissible only to the original residents of the state of Uttar Pradesh. Candidates from other states can apply under the unreserved category.

Those expelled from the service of the Central/State Government or any other department are not eligible for the above posts.

Pay Scale and Qualification Details for UPPCL Recruitment 2022

Pay Scale: Pay Matrix Level 4 Rs.27200 (Minimum Level) under the Seventh Pay Commission and other allowances will be payable as per rules applicable in the Corporation.

Qualification: The candidate must possess the following educational qualification at the time of application.

Application of the Board of Secondary Education, Uttar Pradesh High School or equivalent examination of Board of Secondary Education, Uttar Pradesh, Regular with passing in Science and Mathematics subjects. As a student, it is necessary to have a two-year All India or State Professional Certificate (NCVT / SCVT) in any one of the following trades:

a. Electrician, b. Electrical and c. Electrical (power distribution under skill development).

The explanation for the help of the candidate’s Notes: Technical certificates obtained through distance education or on the basis of experience or equivalent in addition to the desired trade will not be valid.

Age and Application Fees Details for UPPCL Recruitment 2022

Minimum 18 years and Maximum 40 years as on 01.01.2022.

Permissible Age Relaxation: Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, ‘Other Backward Classes (Non-Creamy Layer) and Freedom Fighter Dependents (Freedom Fighter and Freedom Fighter Dependent must be a native of Uttar Pradesh).

Candidates who are the domicile of Uttar Pradesh, a relaxation of 05 years is allowed in the upper age limit.

Application Fee: The application Fee is Non-Refundable.

1. Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe Category (It is necessary to be a native of Uttar Pradesh.): Rs.826

2. All other categories: Rs.1180

The application fee will be deposited through net banking/ debit card/ credit card or challan of State Bank of India, apart from this application fee will not be deposited through any other means Will happen. The mode of submission is available on the website www.uppcl.org.

Bank charges will be payable by the candidate separately. The amount deposited towards the application fee is non-refundable and will neither be refunded nor transferred or secured for any advance selection in any case.
