UPSC Recruitment 2023: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is looking for qualified candidates for the posts of Specialist Grade-III, Assistant Surgeon/ Medical Officer, Senior Assistant Controller and Assistant Professor/ Lecturer under various departments. As per the official notification of UPSC Recruitment 2023, there are a total of 113 vacancies for the above-mentioned post. For Specialist Grade-III (Microbiology or Bacteriology)- Doctor of Medicine (Bacteriology) or Diplomate National Board (Bacteriology) Doctor of Medicine (Microbiology) or Diplomate National Board (Microbiology) or a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery with a Master of Science (Medical Bacteriology) or Master of Science (Medical Microbiology) with Doctor of Philosophy (Medical Bacteriology) etc.
For Specialist Grade-III (Pathology)- Doctor of Medicine (Pathology) or Diplomate National Board (Pathology) Doctor of Philosophy (Pathology) or Doctor of Science (Pathology).
For Assistant Surgeon/ Medical Officer- A recognized medical qualification included in the First Schedule, Second Schedule, or Part II of the Third Schedule.
For Senior Assistant Controller of Mines- Bachelor of Engineering or Technology in Mining Engineering from a recognized University or Institution.
For Assistant Professor/ Lecturer (Anatomy)- Postgraduate qualification in Homeopathy.
