UPSC Recruitment 2024: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is inviting interested and engrossed candidates for the Central Armed Police Force (Assistant Commandants) Examination, 2024 for the posts of Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB). In reference to the official notification of UPSC Recruitment 2024, there are 506 vacancies opened for the mentioned positions. The candidates applying for the position mentioned above should have not less than 20 years and not more than 25 years. The candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University. The candidates applying for the above-stated positions should be medically and physically fit.
In accordance with the official notification of UPSC Recruitment 2024, the candidates have to pay an application fee of Rs.200. There will be an exemption in the application fee according to the categories (see below). The candidates who meet the eligibility criteria for the positions may apply online through the official website of UPSC and submit their duly filled applications along with all the supporting documents as asked by the committee on or before the stipulated date given by the committee. In line with the official notification of UPSC Recruitment 2024, the applicable candidates will be selected on the basis of Written Examination, Physical and Medical Standards Tests, Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Interview/ Personality Test conducted by the committee.

As stated in the official notification of UPSC Recruitment 2024, the individuals applying for the position stated above must have a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section-3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or possess an equivalent qualification.
The committee will conduct the Central Armed Police Force (Assistant Commandants) Examination, 2024 as a Written Examination. The candidates who qualify in this examination will be called for the Physical and Medical Standards Tests, Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Interview/ Personality Test conducted by the committee as a part of the selection procedure.

The candidates belonging to the category of SC/ ST and Female candidates are exempted from the payment of the application fee. The candidates can pay the application fee either by remitting the money in any Branch of the State Bank of India or by using Visa/ Master/ RuPay Credit/ Debit Card/ UPI Payment or by using Internet Banking of any Bank.
