Uttaranchal University raided by Income Tax A team from the Income Tax Department raided the Uttaranchal University campus and adjacent installations on Wednesday. A team of income tax was stationed at the Vasant Vihar house of Jitender Joshi, the chancellor of Uttaranchal University, throughout the operation. These raids are claimed to have been carried out by 22 separate teams around the state capital. The raids began at 6 a.m. and continued until late at night. The IT teams met with the varsity's and other institutions' account executives and extensively reviewed the financial facts.
