Want 2000 rupees from government in your bank account; then this work has to be done: PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana

Financial assistance of Rs.6,000 per year is given by the government to the eligible farmer families of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. The objective of the scheme is to provide financial assistance to the economically weaker farmers. Under this, Rs.6,000 is sent to the bank accounts of farmers in three equal installments in a year. These installments are of two thousand rupees.

So far 10 installments have been sent by the government and now the farmers are waiting for the 11th installment, which is going to end soon. The 11th installment can be sent to the bank account of the farmers next month.

This is believed to be because ever since the scheme has been launched, most of the installments for the April to July period have come only in April. Explain that the government has fixed April-July, August-November and December-March period to send the installments. Accordingly, the installment is sent to the bank account of the farmers. The second installment (April to July) was released in April 2019 after the scheme was launched. Then, the 5th installment (April to July) released in April 2020. However, the 8th installment (April to July) was sent in May 2021. In such a situation, it has been sent most of the times in April, so this time also it is expected to arrive in April.

However, for this it is very important for the farmers to update the e-KYC. The official website of PM Kisan Yojana reads, “e-KYC is mandatory for PM Kisan registered farmers.

It also said, “As per notification received from UIDAI for OTP services of UIDAI. Intermittent action may result in delay in response and time out while verifying OTP.”

Update e-KYC in PM Kisan Yojana

• Visit the official website of PM-Kisan https://pmkisan.gov.in/.
• Click on the e-KYC option.
• Enter Aadhar Card Number and Click on Search.
• Enter the mobile number linked with the Aadhar card.
• OTP will come on the number.
• Enter the OTP at the specified place on the page.
