49th GST Council Meeting to be held at New Delhi on February 18, 2023 The GST Council will meet again in New Delhi on February 18. Three reports from the Group of Ministers (GoM), including one on online gambling, casinos, and horse racing, are anticipated to be discussed at the conference. The other two papers included tax cheating by "pan masala" and "gutka" manufacturing companies as well as appellate tribunals.

The GST Council announced in a tweet that its 49th meeting would take place on February 18, 2023, in New Delhi. Nirmala Sitharaman, the minister of finance, will preside over the meeting. The meeting will be attended by member ministers and nominated representatives from 28 States and 3 Union Territories.
