53rd GST Council meeting to be held on 22nd June 2024 at New Delhi As the new government assumes charge, the GST Council's 53rd meeting has been scheduled for June 22, 2024, in New Delhi. The GST Council's last meeting was conducted on October 7, 2023, chaired by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. "The 53rd meeting of the GST Council will be held on 22nd June 2024 at New Delhi," the GST Council Secretariat said in a post on Twitter. The GST Council will meet for the first time since Prime Minister Narendra Modi returned to power for the third time in a row.
