Chennai Customs Arrests 3 Passengers at the Airport for Smuggling Foreign Currency Worth Rs. 55.76 Lakhs

On 25.02.2022 Chennai Customs intercepted 3 passengers who were bound to Colombo via Flight UL 122.

During examination Foreign Currency (USD 75000) worth Rs. 55.76 lakhs was found concealed in a False layer inside their hand luggage and backpacks.

Custom officials arrested the 3 accused and further investigation is under process.
