According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch the 11th instalment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana on May 31, 2022.

On May 31, PM Narendra Modi will be in Shimla, where during a program he will release the next installment of Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana online to farmers across the country. It is mandatory to have e-KYC to take advantage of this scheme.

“A massive joint event of several Central Ministries will be organised on May 31st as part of the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav yearly celebrations, with Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi as the prime guest. Shri Modi will use video conferencing to connect with beneficiaries of 16 schemes/programs managed by 9 Central Ministries/ Departments during this national level programme called “Garib Kalyan Sammelan” in Shimla (Himachal Pradesh). He would distribute the 11th instalment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, which is valued over Rs. 20,000 crores, to over 10 crore farmers “According to the Official press release.

Also, This will be the country’s largest single programme, with nationwide deliberations in all districts during which Prime Minister Shri Modi will interact with beneficiaries about the impact that Central schemes such as the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi, Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, Poshan Abhiyan, Pradhan Mantri Matri Vandana Yojana, Swachh Bharat Mission (Rural and Urban), Jal Jeevan Mission and AMRUT, Pradhan Mantri Swanidhi Yojana, One Nation-One Ration Card, Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, Ayushman Bharat PM Jan Arogya Yojana, Ayushman Bharat Health and Wellness Centers and Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana.

Farmers will be required to complete E-KYC

Farmers will also be required to complete the E-KYC process this time. To do so, go to PM Kisan’s official website at pmkisan.gov.in and select the E-KYC option. Following that, you must provide your Aadhar number and registered cellphone number. An OTP will now be sent to your mobile device. After inputting the OTP, another Aadhaar OTP will be sent to you. This process will be finished after inputting the Aadhaar OTP.

How to check your name in beneficiary list, here’s the step-by-step guide for you:

Step 1: Go to the PM Kisan Yojana’s official website, pmkisan.gov.in.

Step 2: On the home page, click on the ‘Beneficiary Status’ button.

Step 3: After selecting the beneficiary status, the individual must select either an Aadhaar number, an account number, or a mobile number.

Step 4: After selecting an option, click ‘Get Data.’

Step 5: The data will be available to the beneficiaries.

What is Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana?

PM Kisan Yojana is an initiative by the government of India in which, small and marginal farmers are given three installments of Rs.2,000 each in a year (total Rs.6000) as minimum income support. The eligible beneficiaries of the scheme can also register themselves through the Common Service Center (CSC). Apart from this, only the local patwari, revenue officer and the nodal officer nominated by the state government for the scheme are registering the farmers.

The initiative was announced by Piyush Goyal during the 2019 Interim Union Budget of India on 1 February 2019.
