Ministry of Communications Recruitment 2022: The Ministry of Communication‘s Department of Telecommunications is accepting applications for a temporary and contract position of Technical Consultant. The application must be submitted by July 15, 2022. The candidate’s age at the time of the last application deadline should not exceed 64.

Who Can Apply Ministry of Communications Recruitment 2022:

Applications are invited from retired Government servants/ retired officials of PSUs or Research Organizations/any other Government Organizations with adequate computer knowledge and preferably having knowledge of DoT field unit works as mentioned in the SI. No. I (i.e. Nature of Duties) of this notification.

Types of Consultant Duties (Technical) for Ministry of Communications Recruitment 2022:

Work may be assigned in any of the following verticals of the LSA:

a) Service Compliance- CAF Audit, EMR Audit, Service Testing, Roll out obligation, etc.

b) Technology- Secured dedicated communication network, Time Synchronization of Telecom Networks, Disaster Technology Management, interconnect Exchange, Inspections of Licensee Network, Advocacy & Public A awareness, etc.

c) Security-Operation and Maintenance of CMS/ IMS, Curbing illegal activities/Control over clandestine/illegal operation of telecom networks. Analysis of CDR/SDR, and other security activities assigned from time to time.

d) Rural- Rural connectivity for DBT, verification of USOF sites. Rf-‘ coverage testing/ telecom connectivity checking. etc.

e) Admin, Legal, PG & Vigilance-Admin, PG, Building, Vigilance. Court case & Misc, Admin activities, etc.

Eligibility for Ministry of Communications Recruitment 2022:

For consultant in Technical Level – only retired from CDA Scale with a substantive grade of Level 8 or 7 of the 7th CPC or equivalent IDA Scale or holding analogous post need to apply.

Preference will be given to retired applicants with desired experience in DoT/ BSNL/MTNL. However, BSNL/MTNL retires under VRS-2019 shall not be considered for engagement of consultants in accordance with DoT order No. 1- 50( I )/20 l 8-E&C-Pai1( I), dated 14.6.2021.

Selection Procedure for Communications Recruitment 2022:

For this reason, a selection panel will be established, and it will be in effect for six months. The department’s decision regarding the choice of consultants shall be final and binding.
