IARI Recruitment 2022: The Assistant Administrative Officer, Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR)-Indian Agricultural Research Institute (CKA) Pusa Road has invited the NET Qualified SRF Applicants meeting the Eligibility Criteria for Senior Research Fellow (SRF). The Senior Research Fellows (SRFs) duly fulfilling the Eligibility Criteria laid down in the ICAR-IARI Advertisement, being desirous of applying may fill up the Application Proforma Neatly Typewritten annexed with the Mandatory Testimonials may like to appear for a Walk-in-Interview as per the Date stipulated. The Closing Date for Application by way of a Walk-in-Interview befalls 21st September 2022 (21.09.2022)

Note: The candidate willing to attend the Walk-in-Interview (in case of any of His/Her Near or Distant Relative happens to be an Employee of the ICAR/IARI, should Necessarily declare (in writing) His/Her Name, Designation, Nature of Duties, Relationship in anticipation ensuring that it reaches the Head Division of Vegetable Science, ICAR-IARI, New Delhi via *E-Mail up to 15th September 2022 (15.09.2022). Failing so then and there, in case the Interview Participant SRF furnishes the same on the Interview Date will be denied Permission for appearing in Walk-in-Interview.

All the other Candidates should compulsorily furnish the Declaration duly signed for submission on the Date of Interview.

Selection Process for IARI Recruitment 2022: Selection to the Post of Senior Research Fellow is Purely Contractual, Timely, and Time-bound and Co-terminus with the Project “Development of Distinctness, Uniformity, and Stability (DUS) Testing Guidelines for Lettuce (Lactuca sativa L.) Funded by Protection of Plant Variety and Farmers Right Act (PPV & FRA)”. Senior Research Fellow’s Appointment will be Yearly-based on the Progress of the ICAR-IARI DUS Testing Project and Fund-availability.

Monthly Remuneration: Rs. 31000.00 Plus HRA Per Month (Consolidated)

Educational Qualification:

The SRF Applicant should have in possession a Master Degree in Horticulture or Agriculture (Vegetable Science) or Genetics and Plant Breeding or Seed Science and Technology or Life Sciences with 04 Years/05 Years of Bachelor’s Degree Or Candidate with Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science with 03 Years’ Bachelor’s Degree and 2 Years Master’s Degree should be National Eligibility Test (NET) Qualified and 02 Years of Research Experience as per Office Memorandum No. Edn/6/27/2014/HRD Dated 13th July 2015, Office Memorandum No.Agril.Edn.6/27/2014/HRD Dated 9th October 2015 of the Council, Office Memorandum No. SR/S9/Z09/2018 issued by the Department of Science and Technology (DST) Dated 30th January 2019 and Office Memorandum No. Agrl.Edn./6/27/2014-HRD Dated 30th July 2019.

Desirable Post Qualification Experience:

The Applicant should have gained Working Experience in Morphological Characterizations of Vegetable Crops, Vegetable Breeding, and conducting Field trials.
