Minimum Educational Qualification: Master’s Degree (Acharya) with Minimum 55% Marks or an Equivalent Grade in a Point Scale wherever Grading System is followed from any duly recognized University for General Category Persons.
Relaxation of 05% Marks for reserved community and Divyang/Differently-Abled Persons.
In the case of the Candidate for the Post Lecturer in Buddhist Philosophy and History and Tibetan Grammar, the candidate should have been an ordained Monk of Nyingma Lineage.
Desirable:
i) Honors Level at the Degree (Shastri) Level in the cases of Assistant Professors in English, Hindi and Sanskrit.
ii) Philosophiae Doctor (Ph.D.)
ii) Local candidates having knowledge in any of the Local Dialects (Sikkim, Bhutia, Lepcha or Nepali
Experience: Minimum 02 years’ Teaching Experience.
