JKPSC Recruitment 2023: The Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) has invited Online Applications from Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory Domicile Residents Eligible for Recruitment on Medical Officer (Backlog) Posts in the Health and Medical Education under the 2nd Special Drive to be filled up vide the JKPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement Dated 03.08.2023. The JKPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Notification has occurred for 180 Vacancies for Medical Officer Post under the Pay Level 09 (Rs.52700-166700)
to be filled up against 2nd Special Drive Recruitment. Based on the JKPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, the Willing and Eligible Candidates may complete the Online Registration Process together with a remittance of the prescribed Examination Fee and upload self-attested Scanned documents in a PDF File well ahead of the Closing Date of 19.08.2023 for the Medical Officer Post.
As may also be referred to in the JKPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Notification issued for the purpose the Applicants may carry out editing in the Online Application between 20.08.2023 up to 22.08.2023. Based on the JKPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement, the Willing and Eligible Candidates may proceed to Online Application Process. As has been stated in the JKPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement issued for Medical Officer Post, the Jammu & Kashmir Public Service Commission shall conduct on 17.09.2023 a Competitive Written Examination 2023 for the Candidates aimed at Shortlisting for Subsequent Personal Interviews slated to be held on the Scheduled Dates.

Based on the JKPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, the Monthly Salary accruing to the Officers as follows:
Pay Level 09 (Rs.52700-166700)
The Upper Age Limits in accordance with the JKPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement prescribed for the Candidates have been described therein
i) In-Service/Government Candidates (as on 01.01.2023) should not exceed 40 Years.
ii) Relaxations in the Upper Age Limits for different Reserved Communities may be read hereunder as per the JKPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Notification.
Based on the JKPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, the Eligible Candidates should have in possession the following Eligibility comprising Educational Qualification and Physical Standard Measurements explained hereunder:
Educational Qualification: The candidate should have an MBBS or be in possession of duly recognized Graduate Medical Qualification included in the 1st and 2nd Schedule Or Part II or the 3rd Scheduled (other than Licentiate Qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act 1956. Holders of Educational Qualifications included in Part-II of the Third Schedule should fulfil the conditions stipulated in Sub-Section (3) of Section (13) of the Indian Medical Council Act 1956.
The JKPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Notification mandates the Selection Process for selection of the Candidates through a Written Examination. The Jammu & Kashmir Public Service Commission will host on 17.09.2023 a Written Test aimed at shortlisting for the subsequent stage involving Viva-voce/Oral Test. The Objective-Type Online Test with 02-Hours Examination Duration shall comprise 100 Objective-Type Multiple Choice Questions. Each correct Answer shall carry 01 Marks. There shall be a Negative marking of 0.25 Mark for each Incorrect Response Or Multiple Answers to each Multiple-Choice Question of Objective-Type.
