UPSC CAPF Assistant Commandant DAF 2022: The Central Armed Police Force (Assistant Commandant) Detailed Application Form (DAF) announcement had been made public by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). Candidates who successfully completed/passed the written test for the Central Armed Police Force (Assistant Commandant) position can review the brief notification on the UPSC website, upsc.gov.in.

Before completing the online Detailed Application Form, candidates should carefully read these guidelines. Before completing the online Detailed Application Form, the applicant should additionally scan all pertinent original papers in 200 dpi grayscale and convert them to separate PDF files no larger than 1 MB (DAF). The produced pdf file must not be password-protected, and it must be uploaded with the DAF submission online.

(I) A scanned copy of the birth certificate.

(II) A scanned copy of the official documents proving the candidate’s education as specified in para. 3(IV) of the examination notice posted on the commission’s website and in Rule 6 of the examination rules issued in the Indian Gazette on April 20, 2022.

(III) A scanned copy of the certificate supporting the claim that the applicant is a member of one of the following groups: Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, or Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) (wherever applicable).

(IV) A scanned copy of the undertaking, duly signed by the OBC candidate requesting the relaxation in support of their assertion that they do not belong to the creamy layer, in the format specified in Paragraph B-1 of Appendix I.

(V) A scanned copy of the proforma that the candidate is seeking relaxation as an OBC candidate is attached as an Annexure to the Detailed Application Form.

(VI) Where relevant, a scanned copy of the certificate is used to substantiate the claim of age concession.

(VII) Scan of the discharge certificate, if the applicant is claiming to be a veteran.

(VIII) Scan of the Undertaking, properly signed by the candidate if they are currently employed by the government.

(IX) The candidate requesting reservation as an EWS candidate must submit a properly completed and signed proforma as an annexure to the detailed application form.

At the time of the interview or within the last day of the interview, which will be published on the Commission’s website in due course, originals of the aforementioned certificates must be produced, along with self-certified copies of all the documents, failing which their candidacy is subject to cancellation. Additionally, it should be mentioned that the deadline for certificate verification will never be extended. Candidates must also be aware that no document needs to be submitted via postal mail; instead, they should only upload scanned copies of the originals.

2. The information provided by candidates in this Detailed Application Form online will be compared to that previously provided by them in the Application Form for the Examination through the Internet. If there are any significant differences, their application may be rejected or canceled.

3. Candidates must list their top three choices for the Services or Forces in column 10 of the Application Form in order for their preferences to be taken into account when appointments are made, taking into account the rank in order of merit. Candidates of both genders may be appointed to the position of Assistant Commandant. Etc.
