Selection Process for Northern Coalfields Recruitment 2022:

Northern Coalfields Ltd shall conduct a Computer-Based Recruitment Test (CBRT) with 90 Minutes Span. The Computer-Based Test shall consist of 02 Sections; (Section A and Section B) comprising 100 Objective-Type Multiple Choice Questions for Maximum Marks (Section A contains Discipline-related Technical Knowledge with 70 Multiple Choice Questions and Section B shall have 30 Multiple Choice Questions of Objective-Type based on General Knowledge, General Awareness, Reasoning, Verbal and Mental Ability ad Quantitative Aptitude).

A Final Merit List shall be drawn based on the Candidates’ Performance in the Computer-Based Test.

Eligibility (Educational Qualification)

1) Mining Sirdar T&S Grade ‘C’:

i) Passed Matriculation or Equivalent Examination from the Government of India accredited State Board of Education;

ii) Valid Mining Sirdar Certificate of Competency (CoC) issued by the Directorate General of Mines and Safety (DGMS) under the Coal Mines Regulation 2017 or any other Certificate in Mining, which entitles the Applicant to work as Mining Sirdar as per the Coal Mines Regulation 2017.

iii) Valid Gas Testing Certificate (GTC)

iv) Valid First Aid Certificate (FAC)

Or

i) Passed Matriculation or Equivalent Examination from the Government of India accredited State Board of Education.

ii) Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mining Engineering from the Government of India accredited Institute.

iii) Valid Gas Testing Certificate (GTC).

iv) Valid First Aid Certificate (FAC).

2) Surveyor T&S Grade ‘B’ (Mining)

i) Passed Matriculation or Equivalent Examination from the Government of India accredited State Board of Education.

ii) Valid Surveyor’s Certificate of Competency (SCC) granted under the CMR’2017 or any other Certificate in Mining, which entitles the Applicant to work as Surveyor as per the Coal Mines Regularion 2017.

Or

i) Degree or Diploma in Mining/Mine Surveying Engineering from the Government of India accredited State Board of Education.

ii) Surveyors’ Certificate of Competency (SCC) granted under the CMR’2017 or any other Certificate in Mining, which entitles the Applicant to work as a Surveyor as per the Coal Mines Regulation 2017.

Age Limit (As on 22.12.2022)

The Un-Reserved Category Candidates should be Minimum 18 Years and must not exceed (Maximum) 30 Years. Relaxation in the Upper Age Limits for Reserved Community Candidates as per the Northern Coalfields Recruitment 2022 Advertisement. The Ex-Service-Men Candidates are also entitled for relaxation in the Upper Age Limit as explained in the Northern Coalfields Recruitment 2022.
