Medical Officer-

Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.S.), shall compulsorily be registered with the respective State Medical Council.

Candidate should have at least two years relevant experience in Medical Institute / Hospital / Industrial Establishment post valid registration with State Medical Council.

Nurse-

• Diploma in Nursing and Midwifery (3 years course) with Registration as an ‘A’ grade Nurse from any of Central / State Nursing Council with minimum 2 years post qualification experience in a recognized Hospital / Institution / Organization.
• B.Sc. (Nursing) with Registration as a Nurse from any of the Central / State Nursing Councils with minimum 2 years post-qualification experience in a recognized Hospital / Institution / Organization.
• Nursing ‘A’ Certificate with 3 years post qualification experience in a recognized Hospital / Institution / Organization.
• Nursing Assistant Class III & above from the Armed Forces with minimum 2 years post qualification experience in a recognized Hospital / Institution / Organization.

Selection Criteria for ECIL Recruitment:

Medical Officer-

Qualification: 70 marks (60 marks for essential qualifications & up to 10 marks for higher qualifications)

Interview: 30 Marks

The breakup of 10 marks for such higher qualification shall be considered as follows:

• 5 marks shall be given to a master’s degree in the relevant field (e.g. MD/MS).
• Further additional 5 marks shall be given to a Post Master’s qualification in the relevant field (e.g. M. Ch/ DM).

1. The higher qualifications considered for granting additional marks shall need to be in line, for example, an MBA in Hospital Administration shall not be considered as inline qualifications where M.B.B.S. is the essential qualification.
2. Qualifying marks in the interview shall be 18 marks.

Nurse-

Candidates will be allowed only after registration and followed by successful document verification. Following are the selection criteria and the qualifying marks in the interview shall be 18 marks.

Qualification: 50% of the aggregate percentage

Interview: 50 marks

Salary for ECIL Recruitment:

Medical Officer- Rs. 72000 Per Month

Nurse- Rs. 22,480 Per Month for 1st year and Rs. 22,528 Per Month for 2nd year

Document to Carry during Walk-In of ECIL Recruitment:

Candidates are required to fill the Application Form available on the ECIL Careers web page and walk in along with the following documents. Candidates will be allowed for Personal Interviews only after successful document verification.

• Matriculation/10th Standard or equivalent certificate as proof of Date of Birth
• Identity proof issued by Govt., like Aadhar, PAN, Driving License, Passport etc.
• Qualification supporting documents & Internship Completion Certificate
• Valid Registration Certificate with the respective State Medical Council.
• Service certificates related to the experience;
• Proof of Higher Qualification (if any);
• No Objection Certificate (NOC) from existing employer, in case the candidate is engaged in a State / Central Govt. Enterprises.
