UPSC Recruitment 2023: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has called in Online Applications from the Candidates Eligible for the Joint Assistant Director Post in the Directorate of Coordination Police Wireless (DCPW), New Delhi, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India.  

The Union Public Service Commission notified 03 Vacancies including 01 Post earmarked for the Un-Reserved Category for Appointment on the Joint Assistant Director Post under Pay Scale Level 08 in the Pay Matrix.

The Last Date for the Willing Candidates to complete the Online Recruitment Application Process is 12th January 2023 (12.01.2023).

Note I: The Candidate must ensure that they fill the ORA with the individual Qualifications and Experience mentioned in the relevant Field over and above the Minimum Qualifications.

Post and Vacancy Details for UPSC Recruitment 2023:

Post: Joint Assistant Director

Post Classification: General Central Service, Group ‘B’, Gazetted, Non-Ministerial

Employment nature: The Post is Permanent

Vacancy: 03 Nos. (01 Post Earmarked for General Merit Candidates)

Posting Location: MHA Ministerial Head Quarters, New Delhi

Pay Scale for UPSC Recruitment 2023:

Pay Scale: Level 08 in the Pay Matrix

Post Selection, the Officers shall be issued Appointments to the Pay Scale mentioned hereinabove.

Upper Age Limits vide UPSC Recruitment 2023:

1) The Un-Reserved Category Candidates (as on the Closing Date 12.01.2023) should not exceed 30 Years as published in the UPSC Recruitment 2023 Notification.

2) The Upper Age Limit remains Relaxable for Regularly Appointed Central Government/Union Territory Government Servants up to 05 Years as per the instructions issued by the Government of India from time to time.

3) For concession in Age applicable to some other Categories of Applicants (Relevant Paragraphs of the ‘Instructions and Additional Information to Candidates for Recruitment by Selection’ may be read in the UPSC Recruitment 2023).

Eligibility for the UPSC Recruitment 2023:

The Eligibility comprising the Educational Qualification(s) and Experience essential for the Applicants is as follows:

A) Educational Qualification: i) B.Tech/B. Engg. or B.Sc. (Engineering) Degree in Electronics/ Electronics and Telecommunication/Electronics and Communication/Information Technology/Computer Science/Information and Communication Technology/Electrical Engineering with Telecommunication as a special Subject from any Accredited University/Institute. Or

ii) Master’s Degree in Electronics /Computer Science/Information Technology/Artificial Intelligence/Physics with Electronics/ Communication/ Wireless/Radio subjects as a Specialization from any Accredited University/Institute.

Important Note: The Educational Qualifications (prescribed under the UPSC Recruitment 2023 Advertisement with reference to the Ministry of Home Affairs) remain relaxable at the UPSC’s discretion for reasons to be recorded in writing, with respect to the Candidates otherwise well-qualified.

B) Desirable Qualification(s): 03-Years’ Experience in Radio Communication/Computer Communication/Satellite Communication/Artificial Intelligence/Internet of Things/Cyber Security from the Central Government/State Government/Union Territory/Public Sector Undertaking/ Statutory/Autonomous Organization.

Application Fee for UPSC Recruitment 2023:

a) The Candidates shall need to pay an Application Fee of Rs. 25.00 (Rupees Twenty-five only) only either by remitting the Money in any Branch of the State Bank of India through Cash/by using the Net-banking Facility of the State Bank of India by using Visa/Master Credit/Debit Card.

b) Reserved Community (SC/ST/PwBDs) and Women Candidates under any Community remain Exempted from paying the Application Fee.

How to Apply for UPSC Recruitment 2023:

The Eligible and Willing Candidates should

i) visit the USPC ORA Website for completing the Online Application Process involving uploading Scanned Documents and the Application Fee;

ii) carefully read the Online Application/Registration Instructions available on the UPSC ORA Portal;

iii) initiate the Online Application Process as per the Instructions on the Online Registration Application Portal;

iv) scan Signature and the most Most-recent Passport-size Photograph for uploading with Online Registered Application (ORA);

v) ready Self-attested Documents to be uploaded UPSC Online Registration of Application;

vi) remit the Application Fee Online.
