Overview:

Nokia is hiring an experienced Security Software Engineer at their Bangalore location. You will work with Security Architects to contribute to developing security risk mitigating feature architecture and requirements, and you will be responsible to implement those once approved. You will closely work with other R&D colleagues to ensure adequate and appropriate implementation. You will be accountable to assure and report security and quality compliance of your work before it may be put to production.

Roles and Responsibilities:

The Ideal Candidate should be able to:

Implement Security-related Features in contemporary coding languages

Work with Security Architects who identify risks and document architecture and requirements for their mitigation

Collaborate with other R&D colleagues to ensure adequate integration of the features assigned to you

The Ideal Candidate should also have:

DevOps and Continous Integration technologies like Jenkins

Security Technologies like PKI, TLS, TPM, USIM, Encryption

Continuous Integration and delivery tooling (CI/CD) like GitLab CI, Jenkins

APIs and inter-process communication like HTTP / REST, GRPC

Requirements management using R4J (Requirements for Jira).

Eligibility:

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field like engineering, computer science, or security

Minimum 5 years of R&D experience in relevant industries

Ability to create code in Golang, Java, Python, Bash, or credible capability to learn

An understanding of networking technologies like common Internet and networking protocols; whole OSI stack

Architectural understanding and Hands-on experience with container and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes

Experience in unit and module testing

Git Version Control
