As per the official Notification of FTII Recruitment 2023, the name of the posts and vacancies are given below:-

Age Limit for FTII Recruitment 2023:-

As per the official Notification of FTII Recruitment 2023, the minimum age limit required for posts is 30 years and the maximum age should be 50 years.

Age Relaxation

OBC Candidates: 3 Years

SC/ ST Candidates: 5 years

PWD (General) Candidates: 10 Years

PWD (OBC) Candidates: 13 Years

PWD (SC/ST) Candidates: 15 Years

Education Qualification for FTII Recruitment 2023:-

According to the official announcement of FTII Recruitment the education qualification required for posts are given below:-

For Dean (Television):-

(i) Degree of a recognized University or equivalent;

AND

(ii) Diploma from FTII or equivalent in Film or Television direction/ production

(iii) At least eight years of professional experience in a responsible capacity in television production/ training including two years of administrative or managerial experience in an organization or institution of repute.
OR
(i) Certificate of completion of Television course conducted by FTII or equivalent

(ii) At least ten years experience in a responsible capacity in television production/training including two years of administrative/ managerial experience in an organization or institution of repute.

Candidates are required to produce evidence of professional work done.
(b) Desirable

(i) Teaching Experience

(ii) Good knowledge of Indian and International Television

For Professor Screenplay Writing

(i) Degree from a recognized University

(ii) Degree or Diploma or equivalent in Film Direction/ Screenplay Writing from a recognized University or Institution;

(iii) At least six years professional experience as a Script Writer for films including teaching in an organisation or institution of repute;

OR

(i) Master’s Degree from a recognized University;

(ii) At least eight years professional experience as a Script Writer for films including teaching in an organization or institution of repute;

OR

(i) Degree of a recognized University or equivalent;

(ii) At least 10 years professional experience as a Script Writer for films including teaching in an organization or institution of repute;

(b) Desirable:

Good knowledge of Film and TV media in India and abroad.

For Professor Editing

(i) Degree of a recognized University;

(ii) Degree or Diploma or equivalent in Film Editing from a recognized University or Institute

(iii) At least six years professional experience including teaching in Film Editing in an organization or Institution of repute.

OR

(i) Master’s Degree of a recognized University;

(ii) At least eight years professional experience including teaching in Film Editing in an organization or Institution of repute.

OR

(i) Degree of a recognized University or equivalent;

(ii) At least ten years of professional experience including teaching in Film Editing in an organization or Institution of repute.

(b) Desirable:

Good knowledge of Film and TV media in India and abroad.

For Professor Cinematography

(i) Degree from a recognized University;

(ii) Degree or Diploma or equivalent in Motion Picture Photography or Cinematography from a recognized University or Institute.

(iii) At least six years of professional experience including teaching experience in the field of motion picture photography in an organization or institution of repute.

OR

(i) Master’s Degree of a recognized University;

(ii) At least eight years of professional experience including teaching experience in motion picture photography in an organization or institution of repute.

OR

(i) Degree of a recognized University or equivalent;

(ii) At least ten years of professional experience in Motion Picture Photography including teaching experience in an organization or institution of repute.

(b) Desirable:

Good knowledge of Film and TV media in India and abroad.

For Professor Music

(i) Degree from a recognized University

(ii) Degree or Diploma or equivalent in Music of a recognized University or Institution

(iii) At least six years of professional experience as a Music Director for films in an institution or organization of repute;

OR

(i) Master’s Degree of a recognized University

(ii) At least eight years professional experience as a Music Director for films in an institution or organization of repute;

OR

(i) Degree of a recognized University or equivalent

(ii) At least 10 years of professional experience as a Music Director for films in an Institution or organization of repute

(b) Desirable:

(i) Teaching Experience

(ii) Administrative Experience

(iii) Good Knowledge of Indian Art and Culture

(iv) Familiarity with Western Music

(v) Good knowledge of Indian and International Cinema

Pay Scale for FTII Recruitment 2023:-

Candidates selected for various positions at FTII will be paid in accordance with the Pay Matrix Levels 10 to 12.

Application Fees for FTII Recruitment 2023:-

As per the official notification of FTII Recruitment 2023, the Application fee is Rs 1,000 for each post that is to be submitted through the SB collect portal against “Application fee for Gr. A posts at FTII (01/2022)”.

Selection Procedure for FTII Recruitment 2023:-

As per the official notification of FTII Recruitment 2023, the candidates’ final selection will be based on their performance in the scheduled interview.
