Overview:

UPS is hiring an experienced Finance Officer at their Pune location. The position ensures that accounting transactions are properly recorded, posted, processed, and reported. Also responsible for maintaining vendor accounts and processing procurement requests for goods and services.

The complete details of this job are as follows:

What will you be doing:

Bookkeeping and general accounting

Creating and processing invoices.

Process vendor Invoice for payment, Purchase Order and maintain records of procurement documents.

Ensure WHT (TDS) compliance while processing vendor payments.

Cross-checking invoices with payments and expenses to ensure accuracy

Managing a company’s accounts payable and receivable

Tracking organization expenses

Creating and maintaining spreadsheets

Performing clerical work and interoffice support including receiving and processing mail.

Collation and preparation of Data for SEZ reporting.

Invoicing and reconciliation for varying departments

Maintaining and promoting excellent vendor relations

Assembling, sorting, and tabulating codes and filing data

Qualifications for this Job:

Bachelor degree/B.COM/or equivalent in accounting or finance is required. An advanced degree is preferred.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance and accounting is required with core responsibility of Processing vendor payment and procurement compliance.

Advanced computer skills in MS Office programs, particularly Excel.

Knowledge on ERP system -Oracle APPO is must.

Excellent oral and written English skills.

Good communication and excellent inter-personal skills

Good analytical skills are essential.

Computer skills, including expertise in word and Microsoft Excel.

Advanced math skills to keep accurate records and supervise the bookkeeping of an organization

Ability to work under minimal supervision and deliver on set objectives within given deadlines.

Ability to work under pressure and on irregular working hours.
