KMRL Recruitment 2023: Kochi Metro Rail Limited (KMRL) is inviting applications from willing and qualified individuals for the post of Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) and Director (Systems) on a contract/deputation basis. There are 02 vacancies for these given posts, one for each job post. As per the official notification of Kochi Metro Rail recruitment 2023, the selected candidates will be appointed for a period of 3 years as Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) and 5 years as Director (Systems). The decision of the selection committee shall be final. Only Indian Nationals shall be eligible to apply.
As per the Kochi Metro Rail Recruitment 2023 notification, the candidates should not be below the age of 56 years for the post of Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) and Director (Systems) the minimum age limit required for the post is 45 years and the maximum should be 57 years. The application must reach on or before 08th March 2023 5.00 PM.

As per the official notification of KMRL Recruitment 2023, the education qualification for the above-mentioned posts is the applicant should have a B.E. / B. Tech/ B. Sc.(Engg.) in Electrical / Mechanical / Electrical & Electronics Engineering/Electronics & Communication Engineering discipline, from a recognized Institution or University.
The selected candidate will get a monthly salary as per deputation terms and conditions for Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) and for the Director (Systems) the monthly salary for a minimum of Rs. 180000, and the maximum should be 340000 (IDA), and other allowances/perks/privileges.
As per the official notification of Kochi Metro Rail Recruitment 2023, the experience required for the post is given below:-
For Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO)
Officers belonging to Organized Group-A services draw their pay in the scale of Senior Administrative Grade (SAG)- (Functional/Non – Functional). The officers having experience working in technical disciplines of Group A engineering disciplines of Railways will be preferred.
For Director (Systems)
i) Proven track record of twenty-five (25) years after graduation in Electrical / Mechanical / Electronics and Communication Engineering service in Group A’ Service in Indian Railways or Executive service in Railway PSUs/Subsidiary/Sister Concerns. Out of the 25 years mentioned, five (5) years of experience should be at senior levels in Railway/Metro electrification works/Rolling Stock/Signalling & Telecommunication projects of large nature.
ii) Should have experience and knowledge of interfacing with railways or metro-related disciplines such as track laying works, signaling, electrification and rolling stock, etc.
iii) The applicants should have experience in preparing tendering/contract management and project management of important electrical structures and/or signaling and telecom systems from domestic and international vendors as a team leader.
iv) Should have proven experience and knowledge in handling Metro Rail Operations or EMU or Rail operations.
Desirable:
Experience in all phases of major rail-based urban transportation projects on contracts i.e. Planning, Bid Documents, Bidding, Execution, Commissioning, post Commissioning, etc. Experience in implementing major projects and complying with project-related requirements of international funding institutions.
For Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) shall be appointed on deputation for a period of 3 (Three) years extendable by another 2 (Two) years
For Director (Systems) the appointment will be on a contract/deputation basis for a period of 5 years, or up to the date of superannuation, whichever is earlier.
According to the official notification of KMRL Recruitment 2023, the candidates should submit their applications to “General Manager (HR, Admin. & Trg.), Kochi Metro Rail Limited, 4th Floor, JLN Metro Station Kaloor, Kochi-682017” as per the enclosed application form before the closing date. The candidate applying should submit their application form requesting their parent organization to forward their application along with NOC, D & AR, and Vigilance Clearance and APAR ratings for the preceding 05 years.
