Memorandum of Understanding between ICAI and ICAEW approved by the Cabinet

The signature of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales has been authorised by the Union Cabinet, which is presided over by the Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi (ICAEW).

By prescribing a bridging mechanism on the current terms and conditions, the MoU aims to give recognition of the qualification, training of each other’s members, and admission of the members in good standing. The parties to this MoU will inform one another of any significant changes to their eligibility/admittance standards, CPD policy, exclusions, and any other pertinent information.
