AIIMS Bhopal Recruitment 2023: The All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Bhopal, has issued a walk-in-interview notification for the recruitment of Junior Residents (Non-Academic) on a contractual basis under the Residency Scheme, 1992, as amended from time to time. The Institute invites applications from eligible Indian nationals. Candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria in all respects may appear for the selection process through the walk-in interview, which will be conducted on the second Thursday of every month, except on gazetted holidays. Candidates interested in the position are requested to visit the AIIMS Bhopal website periodically for updates on the vacancy position and interview date.

There are 52 vacancies in total, including two PWBD posts. As per AIIMS Bhopal Recruitment 2023 official notification, the appointments will be made for a period of six months, which may be extended for another six months, not exceeding one year, as per the Residency Scheme 1992, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India. Candidates who have already completed two terms of Junior Residency (Non-Academic), either at AIIMS or outside, will not be considered. As per AIIMS Bhopal Recruitment 2023 official notification, the upper age limit for eligibility to apply for the post of Junior Resident (Non-Academic) is 30 years, as of the last date of submission of application, and it is relaxable for OBC candidates (Central List) for a maximum of three years and SC/ST candidates for a maximum of five years. Age relaxation for PWBD candidates is ten years for General Category, 13 years for OBC Category (Central List), and 15 years for SC/ST category.

Qualification for AIIMS Bhopal Recruitment 2023:

As per AIIMS Bhopal Recruitment 2023 official notification, these are the essential qualifications required for applying to a medical position:

  1. Medical Degree: The candidate should have completed a medical degree program in the respective discipline from a recognized institution or university. The degree should be recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC) or an Institute of National Importance.
  2. MBBS with Internship: The candidate should have completed MBBS (including Internship) on the date of the Interview. The completion of the degree should not be earlier than five years before the date of the interview.
  3. Valid Registration: The candidate should have a valid registration with the National Medical Commission (NMC) or the State Medical Council.

As per AIIMS Bhopal Recruitment 2023 official notification, the pay scale for the advertised position is Rs. 56,100/- (Level-10, Cell No. 01 as per 7th CPC) plus usual allowances including NPA as admissible under rule(s).

Tenure of Engagment for AIIMS Bhopal Recruitment 2023:

As per AIIMS Bhopal Recruitment 2023 official notification, the appointment for the post of Junior Resident (Non-Academic) is for a period of 6 months, which can be extended for another six months, making a maximum tenure of one year as per the Residency Scheme 1992, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India. A candidate can serve a maximum of two terms as Junior Resident.

Notes:

Candidates who have already completed two terms of Junior Residency (Non-Academic) at AIIMS or outside will not be considered. If a candidate joins and leaves at any time during the 6-month term, it will be counted as one term, irrespective of the duration of work. Candidates whose services are terminated on account of any disciplinary/grounds will be ineligible for consideration for the Junior Resident (NA) post, even if they otherwise qualify.

Mode of Selection for AIIMS Bhopal Recruitment 2023:

As per AIIMS Bhopal Recruitment 2023 official notification, the mode of selection for the Junior Resident (Non-Academic) post will be through a written test and/or interview, as decided by the Institute authority. If the number of candidates for a particular post is more than 20, a written exam will be conducted. The top 15 merit candidates will be shortlisted for the interview. The marks obtained by the candidates in the written examination will be considered qualifying in nature for the interview only. The selection of candidates will be based on their performance in the interview.

Interview Schedule for AIIMS Bhopal Recruitment 2023:

As per AIIMS Bhopal Recruitment 2023 official notification, the schedule for the written test/interview has been announced by AIIMS Bhopal for the post of Junior Resident (Non-Academic). The interview will be held on 10th March 2023, starting from 10:30 AM onwards at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Bhawan, located in the Medical College Building of AIIMS Bhopal. Candidates are required to report at 9:00 AM on the same day for the interview. It is important to note that candidates who report after 10:00 AM will not be considered for the interview or selection process.

Candidates need to pay the application fees at the time of the interview.

The application fees for General/OBC category candidates are Rs. 1000/-, for EWS/SC/ST category candidates, are Rs. 800/-, and for persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PWBD), there are no fees. Candidates need to pay the fees by Demand Draft only in favor of “AIIMS Bhopal.” Candidates should note that once the fee is remitted, it will not be refunded under any circumstances. Therefore, candidates are advised to ensure that they fulfill all eligibility criteria before filling-up the application form.
