Selected candidates will get a monthly salary on a pay scale level 11. As per the NDMA Recruitment 2023 official notification, there are 08 vacancies.

As per the NDMA Recruitment 2023 official notification, there are 08 vacancies for the post of Senior Research Officer.
Candidates should have a master’s in social science or physical Sciences or a Bachelor of Engineering from a recognized university. Candidates having a Doctor of Philosophy in Social Science or Physical Science, a Degree in Disaster Management or an Advanced Degree in related areas shall be given preference.
Officers Government or State Governments or Union Territories Administration or University or Public Sector Undertaking or recognized academic research or Training Institution, and Semi-Government or Statutory or Autonomous Body or Local Body:-
(i) Holding analogous posts on the regular basis in the parent cadre or department
or
(ii) with five years of service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in level 9 (Rs. 53,000- 1,67,800) in the pay matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre or department.
b) Desirable Experience:
(i) Experience in disaster management or related areas such as water conservation, environmental management, forestry, urban planning and structural engineering from a recognized institute; and
(ii) Work in government preparedness/response/ recovery/ mitigation or community-based disaster management program.
As per the NDMA Recruitment 2023 official notification, candidates should be below the age of 56 years.
Selected candidates will get a monthly salary on a pay scale level 11 (Rs. 67700-208700).
