The candidate should be an officer belonging to the Organized Group-A Services and should draw their pay in the scale of SAG in their respective cadres. As per Noida Metro Rail Recruitment 2023 official notifications, for the post of Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO), candidates must meet specific qualifications and experience requirements.
Firstly, officers belonging to Organized Group-A Services drawing their pay in the scale of SAG in their cadres (Functional/non-functional) will be eligible to apply for this position. Additionally, officers having experience working in Technical disciplines of Group A engineering disciplines of railways will be preferred.
Moreover, the candidate’s performance in the Annual Performance Appraisal Report (APAR) grading of the last five years will be considered, with a benchmark of at least “8.0.” The integrity of the candidate should be beyond doubt, and if number grading is not available, “Very Good” will be acceptable.
It’s important to note that officers against whom any major or minor penalty was imposed in their careers as a result of disciplinary proceedings will not be eligible for applying for the post of CVO. Furthermore, officers having experience working in technical disciplines of Group A engineering disciplines of Railways will be preferred.
Finally, it is preferable that the candidate has experience in handling various preventive and punitive measures in the detection, and punishment of corruption, and other malpractices.
