IIT Jammu Recruitment 2023: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Jammu is inviting applications from eligible Indian candidates for various posts. As per the IIT Jammu Recruitment 2023 official notification, there are 16 vacancies. Selected candidates will get a monthly salary up to Rs. 218200.
As per the IIT Jammu Recruitment 2023 official notification, the maximum age limit for all posts are vary. Candidates applying for group A have to pay Rs. 1000 as an application fee and the candidates applying for groups B and C have to pay Rs. 500 as an application fee. Candidates will be selected through a Written Test followed by Proficiency Test/Computer Test/ Interview. Only the qualified candidates in the written test will be called for the Proficiency Test/Computer Test/Interview. Interested and eligible candidates have to apply online from the official website on or before the last date. No other mode of application will be accepted. Mention below is the eligibility criteria for IIT Jammu Recruitment 2023:
Scientific Officer
Candidates should have M. Tech (Computer Science & Engg./Computer Science/Electronics Comm./Electronics Telecomm. Or equivalent) Degree with at least 60% marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever the grading system is followed and 5 years of experience as a System Administrator or an equivalent post. OR B. Tech (Computer Science & Engg./Computer Science/Electronics Comm./Electronics Telecomm. Or equivalent) Degree with at least 60% of the marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed. and 8 years of experience as System Administrator or an equivalent post. Candidates should have one industry certification like CCNA/RHCA/ Azure Administrator Associate or equivalent is essential
Technical Officer
Candidates should have M. Tech Degree in CS Engineering or equivalent qualification in an appropriate field with a minimum of 60% marks in the qualifying degree from a recognized University/ Institute with two years of relevant experience. OR Master’s Degree in Science/Computer Science or equivalent qualification in an appropriate field with a minimum of 60% marks in the qualifying degree from a recognized University/ Institute with four years of relevant experience. Candidates should have a bachelor’s Degree (four years) or equivalent qualification in an appropriate field with a minimum of 60% marks in the qualifying degree from a recognized University / Institute with five years of relevant experience. Three years Diploma in Engineering or equivalent in the appropriate field (after 10+2) with a minimum of 60% marks in the qualifying degree from a recognized University/ Institute and six years relevant experience. Proficiency in the use of a variety of computer office applications, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint or equivalent is a must.
