Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) is seeking aspirants’ Engagement of Retired Government Employees as Consultants on a short-term contract basis. The number of vacant seats avail for the Consultant post is 05.

Tenure for DRDO Recruitment 2023:

In accordance with the official notification of DRDO Recruitment 2023, the applicant will e appointed for a tenure period of 01 year which might be extendable on a need and performance basis.

Age Limit for DRDO Recruitment 2023:

As per the official notification of DRDO Recruitment 2023, the maximum age limit of the applicant shall not be more than 63 years.

Place of Posting for DRDO Recruitment 2023:

 According to the official notification of DRDO Recruitment 2023, the selected applicant will be placed at Bengaluru.

Eligibility for DRDO Recruitment 2023:

According to the official notification of DRDO Recruitment 2023, candidates applying for the Consultants post must have the following eligibility.

• The applicants, who have retired from Central / State Govts, PSUs, Autonomous Bodies, Universities, Govt. R&D Organizations and possessing practical knowledge, and adequate experience in the field relevant to the functioning for which applying (as per annexed TOR for each postcode).
• Persons possessing experience having worked with DRDO would be accorded preference during selection/appointment.
• Possessing effective communication (both oral and written) and interpersonal skills with a strong flair for an in-depth examination of his/her areas of work.
• The applicant must have had an unblemished Service record.
• No retired Government Servant shall be eligible for appointment as a Consultant unless there
  is a gap of 15 days between his/her retirement and appointment as a consultant

Salary for DRDO Recruitment 2023:

As mentioned in the Official notification of DRDO Recruitment 2023, the selected applicant will get a monthly salary ranging between Rs.40000 to Rs.60000.
