Post Name and Vacancies for NIA Recruitment 2023:

National Investigation Agency (NIA) is inviting candidates for filling up the post of Section Officer/ Office superintendent, Assitant, Accountant, Stenographer Grade -I, Upper Division Clerk, Data Entry, and Superintendent of Police on a deputation basis. There are 92 vacancies for the given posts.

Tenure for NIA Recruitment 2023:

As given in the official notification of NIA Recruitment 2023, Other terms and conditions of deputation will be as specified in the Government of India, DoP&T OM.

Eligibility for NIA Recruitment 2023:

Candidates applying for the NIA Recruitment 2023 must have the following eligibility given below.

Section Officer/ Office Superintendent

Officers under the Central Government/ State Government/ Union Territories:-

• Holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre/ department; or
• With the five years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in pots in level-6 (Rs. 35,400-1,12,400/-) in the pay matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre or department
  Possessing the following educational qualifications and experience as prescribed for direct recruits:

Essential:

• Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University, and
• Computer proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and slide generation to be certified by cadre controlling authority

Upper Division Clerk

Officers of the Central Government or State Government or Union territories:-

• Holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre or department.
• Possessing the following educational qualifications and experience

Data Entry

Officers of the Central Government or State Government or Public Sector Undertakings or Autonomous Government Institutions holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre or department and possessing ‘O’ or ‘A’ level certificate for Information Technology from Institute recognized by the Government,

Superintendent of Police

• Officers of the Indian Police Service impaneled for to the holding Superintendent of Police level posts at the Centre, or
• Officers of the Central Government or the State Government or the Union Territories:-

1. Holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre or department: or
2. with 5-year service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the post in Pay Band-3 (Rs 15,600-39,100) with Grade Pay of Rs 6600 or equivalent in the parent cadre/department
3. 10 years experience in handling cases of investigation of criminal cases, or intelligence work including counter-terrorism operations or imparting training in counter-terrorism.

Salary for NIA Recruitment 2023:

In accordance with the official notification of NIA Recruitment 2023, the candidate will get a monthly salary between Rs.25500 to Rs.142400 per month.

Nature of Duties for NIA Recruitment 2023:

According to the official notification of NIA Recruitment 2023, the nature of duties is mentioned below.

Data Entry Operator

• Prepare source data for entry by opening and sorting mail; verify and log receipt of data; obtain missing data.
• Records data by operating data entry equipment; collecting information, and resolving processing problems.
• Protects the organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
• Accomplishes department and organization mission by completing related results and needs.
• Follow established practices or standards for the input and presentation of information.
• Proofread and verify data entered. Ensure the accuracy of all information entered and presentation format. Make corrections as needed.
• Assist with routine office duties such as typing, filing, and record maintenance as workload permits.
• Serve as backup for other clerical positions in the Unit.
• Perform related work as assigned.

Superintendent of Police

• The SP shall be responsible for the coordinated investigation of cases registered within their jurisdiction and also for the collection of intelligence from states within his jurisdiction or from the area as per orders.
• Candidates shall be responsible to investigate cases within a prescribed timeframe after receiving orders from the MHA.
• Candidates shall monitor national security-related developments and activities of extremists/militant groups/fundamentalist outfits/left-wing extremists within their jurisdiction as per orders.
• Candidates shall interrogate or get interrogated terrorists/LWE fundamentalists pertaining to their jurisdiction and prepare dossiers on them as per requirements.
• Candidates shall prepare up-to-date notes on various militants’ outfits giving the background, ideology, incidents, area of influence, modus operandi, cadre strength, weapon-holding supporters, sympathizers, etc. as per the requirement of the organizations.

As per the NIA Recruitment 2023 Notification, eligible and interested applicants must fill out the application form in the prescribed proforma given in the Notification below along with the relevant documents and Bio Data and send it to the SP(Adm), NIA HQ, Opposite CGO Complex, Lodhi Road, New Delhi-110003 through proper channels within 45 days from the release of notification. The Notification has been released on the 5th and 7th of July 2023.
