Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is hiring candidates to fill up the post of Deputy Superintendent of Police on a deputation basis. The number of vacant seats available for the above-given post is 15.

Eligibility for CBI Recruitment 2023:

Candidates applying for the CBI Recruitment 2023 must have the following eligibility

• Officer under the Central Police Organisation

1. holding analogous posts on regular basis absorption In the parent cadre or Department; or
2. With six years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in posts in the pay band-2 of Rs. 9300- 34800 plus grade pay Rs. 4600 or equivalent, in the parent cadre or Department;
3. Possessing the following educational qualifications and experience;
4. Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university
5. Three years experience in inquiry or intelligence investigation work.

• Officers under the State Police Organisations;

1. Holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre or Department, or
2. With six years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in posts in the Pay Band -2 of Rs. 9300-34800 plus Grade Pay Rs.4600 or equivalent in the parent cadre or Department; and
3. Possessing the following educational qualifications and experience:
4. Bachelor’s degree from recognized a hollshiqob to bonds university
5. Three years experience in the Investigation of criminal cases.

• Officers of Central Excise and Customs or Income Tax, or persons working under Central Government Government Undertakings; or State Public

1. Holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre or Department, or
2. With six years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in posts in the Pay Band -2 of Rs. 9300-34800 plus Grade Pay Rs. 4600/- or equivalent in the parent cadre or Department;
3. Possessing the following educational qualifications and experience:
4. Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university,
5. Five years experience in vigilance or investigation or intelligence work.

Tenure for CBI Recruitment 2023:

As given in the official notification of CBI Recruitment 2023, the tenure of deputation, including the period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or another Organization/Department of the Central Government, will not exceed three years.

Salary for CBI Recruitment 2023:

In accordance with the official notification of CBI Recruitment 2023, candidates will get a salary between Rs.15600 to Rs.39100 + Grade Pay of Rs.5400.

Age Limit for CBI Recruitment 2023:

According to the official notification of CBI Recruitment 2023, the maximum age limit should not exceed 56 years.
