Post Name and Vacancies for ISRO Recruitment 2023:

Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) under Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC) is hiring candidates for the posts of Post Graduate Teacher, Trained Graduate Teacher, and Junior Translation Officer. There are 03 vacancies for this post.

Qualification for ISRO Recruitment 2023:

Candidates applying for the ISRO Recruitment 2023 must have the following qualification.

Post Graduate Teacher

• Two years Integrated Post Graduate M.Sc Course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject.
  OR
• Master’s Degree with at least 50% marks in aggregate in Botany/Zoology/Life Sciences/Bio Sciences/Genetics/Microbiology/Bio-Technology/Molecular Bio/Plant Physiology from a recognized University provided they have studied botany and Zoology at the Graduation level.
• B.Ed. or equivalent degree from a recognized university.
• Proficiency in teaching Hindi and English media.

Desirable

Knowledge of computer applications

Trained Graduate Teacher

• Three years Diploma after Higher Secondary in Electrical. Electronics Engineering from an institution recognized by the State Government / Government of India. [The minimum qualification for admission to Diploma Course should be at least Higher Secondary]
  OR
• Graduate in Electrical or Electronics Engineering from a recognized University
  Working knowledge in Hindi and English.

   

Desirable:

• One year of practical experience in a recognized workshop institution/factory in Electrical gadgets & Electronics.
• Knowledge of computer applications.

Junior Translation Officer

• Master’s degree from a recognized University in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level.
• Master’s degree from a recognized University in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level.
• Master’s degree from a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi medium and English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level.
• Master’s degree from a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with English medium and Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level.
• Master’s degree from a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi and English as compulsory or elective subjects or either of the two as a medium of examination and the other as a compulsory or elective subject at degree level.
• Recognized Diploma or Certificate Course in Translation from Hindi to English and vice-versa or two years experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice-versa in Central or State Government Office, including Government of India undertakings.

Age Limit for ISRO Recruitment 2023:

In accordance with the official notification of ISRO Recruitment 2023, the maximum age limit for the above post is 35 years.

Salary for ISRO Recruitment 2023:

As per the official notification of ISRO Recruitment 2023, the candidate will get a monthly salary between Rs.35400 to Rs.151100.

Selection Procedure for ISRO Recruitment 2023:

As mentioned in the Official notification of ISRO Recruitment 2023, aspirants will be selected on the basis of written tests and skill tests.

For Post Graduate Teachers and  Trained Graduate Teachers

The written test will be conducted first followed by a skill test and short-listing will be done based on the written test scores and shortlisted candidates alone shall be called for skill test. The written test will be conducted in such a way that the knowledge of the candidate is tested covering both breadth and depth of the prescribed curriculum.

The skill test will be purely on a ‘go-no-go’ basis and marks obtained in the skill test will not be considered for selection. The skill test will be evaluated on a 100-point scale and the minimum qualifying marks for the skill test shall be 50% for each component and overall minimum qualifying marks shall be 60% the five different parameters and weightage are detailed below:

For Junior Translation Officer

The written test will be conducted first followed by a skill test and short-listing will be done based on the written test scores and shortlisted candidates alone shall be called for skill test. Written tests will be conducted in such a way that the knowledge of the candidate is tested covering both the breadth and depth of the prescribed curriculum. The skill test will be purely on a ‘go-no-go’ basis and marks obtained in the skill test will not be considered for selection. The skill test will be evaluated on a 100-point scale with a minimum of 60% for qualification. From amongst candidates who qualify in the skill test with 60% marks, empanelment will be done in the order of marks obtained in the written test.

Application Fee for ISRO Recruitment 2023:

According to the official notification of ISRO Recruitment 2023, candidates need to pay an Application fee of Rs.750, whereas, for Female / Scheduled Castes (SC) / Scheduled Tribes (ST) / Ex-servicemen [EX-SM] and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PWBD), candidates will be refunded full fee subject to the condition that the candidates should appear in the written test, for other candidates, an amount of Rs.500 will be refunded in due course duly deducting bank charges as applicable on appearing the written test.  Fee may be paid online through Credit Card / Debit Card / Internet Banking / UPI only through the Integrated SBI ePay facility. No other mode of payment will be acceptable.
