GPSC Recruitment 2023: Goa Public Service Commission (GPSC) is inviting well-qualified and eligible candidates for the post of Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor in various departments/ subjects. As mentioned in the official notification of GPSC Recruitment 2023, there are 37 vacancies for the mentioned positions. The educational qualification is different for each post (mentioned below in the article). The candidates applying for the mentioned positions should have relevant years of experience in their appropriate fields/ subjects. The candidates applying for the mentioned position should not exceed the age of 45 years. The selected candidates will get a monthly pay scale between Level-06 to Level-13 (according to the posts). In case of non-availability of suitable candidates with the knowledge of Konkani for the posts in professional colleges, Consultants in the Directorate of Health Services and highly technical/ scientific posts, the Goa Public Service Commission may recommend a candidate if otherwise found fit and this requirement can be relaxed by the Government, on the recommendation of the Goa Public Service Commission, if the Government is of the opinion that it is necessary or expedient so to do.

Assistant Professor:
The candidates should have a recognized medical qualification included in the First or the Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (Act No. 102 of 1956) or Post graduate degree or equivalent qualification in the speciality concerned from a National Medical Commission (then Medical Council of India) recognized medical college/institution.
Assistant Agricultural Officer:
The candidates should have Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture/Horticulture from an Agricultural University recognised by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research.
Principal Junior Scale/Assistant Apprenticeship Advisor/ Assistant Controller of Examination:
The candidates should have a Degree in Engineering from a recognized University.
